LCI MI CoP - Takt Planning Workshop (Sold Out)

  • vPlanner 303 W. Water Street Flint, Michigan United States (map)

This event has sold out! Due to overwhelming interest, we opened another block of tickets (5 seats remaining) and they will be first come first served.

The vPlanner team is pleased to team up with the Michigan LCI CoP to offer for the first time in Michigan this full-day takt planning workshop on June 17th at the iconic GM Factory One in Flint.

Takt Planning has recently been recognized as a work structuring method within the overall framework of the Last Planner System®. It is best applied during milestone and phase planning stages to define clear execution strategies based on crew flow across well-defined geographic locations. Project teams that have implemented takt and the LPS® have consistently seen a reduction in the overall schedule duration and improved information, materials, and crew flow resulting in reduced overall costs and improved reliability.

During the workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of takt planning, how it relates to the Last Planner System, and how it can be used to drive targeted Lean improvements. You will learn takt hands-on by doing. The workshop format will be group activities, hands-on simulations followed by discussion. Attendees will leave with a solid understanding of what takt is and how takt plans are developed, how they are used to manage production, and how takt is integrated within the overall LPS framework.

Fee: $325-$550. Owners attend free.
