The integrated project delivery (IPD) team for St. Jerome's University Campus Renewal Project in Waterloo, Ontario selected vPlanner to manage its design, construction and commissioning pull planning activities and track the project's commitment plans.
The $47 million project is the first higher education facility in Canada to implement the IPD method of project delivery. The project includes 360 resident beds, an academic center, as well as various expansions and renovations on campus.
The IPD team also includes Graham Construction, Diamond Schmitt Architects, Read Jones Christoffersen Consulting Engineers, MCW Consultants, Ozz Electric and Urban Mechanical. Ghafari Associates was selected as an at-risk IPD project team member and brings lessons learned and best practices to manage the IPD process.
